We’ve all seen those ads polluting late night TV . . .

“Quit your day job!”
“Work part-time at home!”
“Make over $10,000 a month!”
“Be the next internet millionaire!”

These programs offer the same things:

Instructions for creating a virtual mall or blog, plus details on signing up with every affiliate program available. If you’re lucky they’ll even show you search engines besides Google.

Secrets and Tools are Bait and Lies!

Some claim to show you the “secrets”, yea right, and others provide “tools” to help you get started . . . WOW a template website! Some people will make money with these programs, spending countless hours on setup, hundreds of dollars on ads and exercising the patience of a saint. But for thousands will only add to the bank accounts of the program creators. Thanks for nothing!

Jaded by my failed attempts at affiliate marketing? YES
Telling you to give up, that you’ll never make money? NOPE

Contrary to my tone and comments, I am a huge believer in affiliate marketing. I’m just sick of the successful few rubbing it in our faces, and then trying to sell us on the “secrets”. Sure you made $50,000 last month . . . But the real question is how much did you spend on advertising? Don’t believe any “super affiliate” sales pitch if they don’t share ROI details!

Also, there are very few “secrets” to successful affiliate marketing. And it has nothing to do with the website you create or how much you learn about SEO. If I know this for sure then why am I an affiliate failure?

Because I, like all others, had to learn the biggest “secret” of all:
Success Lies in Doing and Trial and Error!

You may get some tips and tricks from this blog, but its true purpose is to discuss the mistakes we’ve made on a quest for financial freedom. Financial freedom? Shit I’d be happy with an extra thousand each month. As long as it’s somewhat automated!
